According to the Daily Mail on June 8, this lion along with three other lions followed 500 buffaloes, approaching them to hunt in Masai Mara National Park – Kenya.
However, the situation reversed when these buffaloes saw the group of lions, they immediately turned and chased, causing a lion to climb up a tree to hide for a while.
Photographer Olav Thokle, 54, from Norway, captured the moment the lord of the jungle had no choice but to find a safe place.
Mr. Thokle said: “Suddenly the buffalo in the herd noticed the presence of the lion. The strongest buffalo rushed towards the lions. The 3 lions quickly ran away but the fourth lion was attacked by the buffalo herd. surrounded and unable to escape.
The photographer added that the lion immediately saw a single tree on the big steppe and climbed to safety before the buffaloes arrived. He persisted in the tree for nearly an hour before the buffalo left.
