The number of walruses drawn to the rocky islands of Russia is increasing. In the past, after getting tired of foraging, walruses would sit on nearby icebergs to rest until they were ready to eat again.
But now, melting ice due to climate change has forced walruses to swim for miles to find land, where they can rest. Unfortunately, the land near their feeding grounds is craggy cliffs.
