In the wild, lions are one of the most dangerous predators. That explains why they are known as the “lords of the grasslands”. However, not in every hunt, do lions catch the prey they aim for. In this video, a group of lions stalked and attacked the scimitar-horned oryx.
However, faced with the fierce counterattack of their prey, the lions struggled to control their prey. The huge male lion tried to wrestle its prey to the ground. Oryx did not give up, it did not want to die that easily.
It always tries to resist and find a way to escape when given the opportunity. The lion uses its sharp teeth to bite its prey’s neck so it suffocates to death. As for Oryx, he continuously struggled, using kicks combined with thrusts with his 2-meter-long horns to defend.
But the number of lions was so large that it was difficult for the oryx to escape death. In the end, the prey obediently lay down and died in the arms of the lions.
