The fight for survival takes place very intensely in the world of wildlife at the Kruger nature reserve, South Africa, captured by photographer Jors Dannhuser.
According to this photographer’s share, when the group came to an area near a lake, they encountered the scene of a life-and-death battle taking place in front of their eyes.
Under the lake, they found a deer unusually soaking. Looking more closely, it seems that the deer is intending to escape from the pursuit of the wild dogs that took place earlier.
In fact, this worked, when the wild dogs were excited, suddenly showing fear because water is not their preferred hunting environment.
After struggling on the shore for a while, the wild dogs ventured into the water to look for opportunities, perhaps because they were too hungry.
One stray dog finally succeeded in biting the deer’s shank, and began to use force to pull it ashore. Meanwhile, the mischievous deer also strained to cling to the lake – where it would be safe from the enemy’s siege.
When the game was tense, another wild dog suddenly appeared to help his teammates. Here, it was torn by a pack of wild dogs and inevitably ended up dying.
